I first met Linda about 8 years ago, it started out with a dance that turned into a friendship.

8 years is a long time in my world, especially when it comes to friends I hang out with. Normally I replace my circle of friends after a couple of years and get to know new people. I have a need of new and interesting people in my life all the time. I become bored of people as soon as they do not challenge me in an intellectual way. I want to learn and develop,  and that’s why I keep changing friends. All my friends have something they can contribute with (fun, love, humor, party, intellectual, entrepreneurial and so on)…the ones that do not have it comes and goes very quickly. But the ones I keep around me is the best of them all The ones that keeps surprising me and challenging me.

When I first met Linda she had a casual job and did not really know what she wanted to do or be. Today she is studying to become a psychologist. Analyzing my choice of words and behavior all of the sudden!? haha i did not see that coming! But this is what I like with my friends…never knowing what’s going to happen.

“Rockbjörnen” is one of Sweden’s most respected music awards. The event is arranged by Aftonbladet (Swedens biggest newspaper…I think) Tons of gossip in that paper anyway, if you are lucky you can find some serious articles haha

This year they arranged the event in Gröna lund (Stockholm), a real good move! Away from the stiff and I-got-a-carrot-up-my-ass vibe haha

Some performances, some fire on stage *oooohh* and more bla bla bla. So everybody ended up in the park enjoying the rides instead haha It’s an amusement park, I am not gonna be standing in a crowd and watch people I see every day on TV, commercial, billboards…I get enough of that already. So I and Filip Benko, Jonas Bane, Lazee and some friends tried the new rides Gröna lund had this year. We met my former neighbors, the rock group Treadstone, Sean Banan and some other guys.

I was kind of surprised when I heard Danny’s performance, this guy is all out pop for the radio stations but he had a dubstep remix in one of his songs!? Everybody is getting hooked on dubstep right now haha even my friends grandparents that saw my videos liked the music haha lets’ goooOOO granma!! haha

I thought it would be wicked to make a video at The Voice. I know some artists that will perform so why not!! If I remember right, I think it is the biggest free concert in Sweden. Its big, free and you get to see celebrities perform music that made them famous. Its a good concept!!

I hooked up with Lazee, Norlie & KKV, Sean Banan, Nause and Da Costa before the show and you can see how the night started from there. We got it all on tape haha We started out in hotel Scandic Sergel where the staff looked at me wierd when I started filming haha I’m kinda’ used to it by now, people do not expect some crazy guy with a camera doing strange stuff. I dont really care Im just doing my thing, I want the picture right and that is what matters for me. Anyway enjoy the video!!

This was not planned at all. I had some friends over at my place, hangin’ out and just chillin’ when my roomie Rasmus called me in the middle of the night and said “We have a partybus full of people and are cruisin’ around in Stockholm! If you wanna come we can pick you up in 10 min haha“.

I love when these kind of things happens, spontanious partys just popping up from nowhere and 10 min later I’m on a bus full of crazy people. It turned out that one of Rasmus friends are having a birthday and her boyfriend had arranged a partybus as a surprise for her. Well he kinda’ surprised me to haha

I lost one pair of sunglasses and the jacket I was wearing that night. The jacket was my own design (MO’CYCLE) and one of the few sample jackets I had left of that style. I can not lose a sample jacket becouse they are the only ones I have, otherwise I will have to make a whole new production to make a new one, order material, send patterns etc. etc. it’s a project. Luckely for me I have my name written on all the labels inside the jacket “MO’CYCLE made by Moses Shahrivar”….as I thought one of the girls had found the jacket and contacted me a couple days later THANK YOUUUU!!!

I hate arranging my own parties, it’s a process making everything work. Don’t get me wrong, I like to party but it’s the process I would like to avoid. How many should I invite? How many will show up? Did I invite too many or…? I always have a fix idea that I need to invite more people, I think it is because I’m afraid of having a party without anybody showing up. That would be embarrassing. That’s the thought that keeps going on in my head, it is a part of the “process” I really don’t like.

Then finally when the date arrives I have invited too many people and now I have to say no to friends that want to bring more friends (a part of the process). And it is always guys that want to bring more guys!! A simple rule of mine is that it should be 50/50, if you want to bring a guy make sure to also bring a girl otherwise you will mess up the whole arrangement. Nobody wants a party full of guys…unless you are gay which I am not so…

It is hard saying no to people, especially friends. It goes against my nature to say no, it does not feel good. But sometimes you have to say no to people for your own good. I’m kind of good at saying no even though it feels strange. I do know some friends that suck at it, especially when it comes to work. They can’t say no to their boss or co-workers. Instead they say yes and are doing stuff that they really are not supposed to do. It’s your time and your life, enjoy it! Help your friends but why should you do stuff at work that really is not your work to do???

Anyway the party I arranged with my friends Jonas Bane and Filip Benko (you will find more videos with these two guys coming up on my site) turned out to be wicked!! One of the better home-parties I have been to. We planned to make a video of the night and participate in the film competition Nikon film festival (Stockholm film festival). We bought a Nikon camera (which we returned the day afterward, thanks Elgiganten) and made this video for the competition. Right now we are no1 in the competition that ends in late October.

This video is actually the first “My Wicked Video” movie that I made. After this video I kept on filming parties and stuff that I did and everything has now turned into this video blog. By now I have been filming for tree moths and already I have material to release one video/week for 6 months to come.
