When Aubrey Drake Graham dropped his highly anticipated debut “Thank Me Later” last summer my expectations were exaggerated to the absolute max, only destined to result in a anti climax when the album finally landed, of course leading to a huge disappointment. After dropping their debut album “Tons of Friends” last year that had more of an mainstream appeal to it, Phra and Bot of the Crookers went back to their more original sound back in May with the release of their “Dr Gonzo” EP. In June the “The Gonzo Anthem” EP dropped and both releases lead up to the duos second full-length album called “Dr Gonzo” that lands today on Southern Fried Records.
