Unlike like the rest of the world I wasn’t overly excited over Diplo climaxing together with Usher earlier this week, however this tune is a mental monster and more up my alley. ‘Express Yourself’ is a collaboration with Nola Bounce rapper Nicky Da B (protege of Big Freedia and Katey Red) and is in fact Diplo’s first time out in the well established universe of New Orleans Bounce Music.

The tune serves as the first single off Diplo’s upcoming EP and drops today via Mad Decent’s imprint Jeffree. As a B-side Diplo takes on, the now famous thanks to Family Guy (mainly s07e02 “I Dream of Jesus”), The Trashmen’s old classic ‘Surfin’ Bird’ from 1963.
