M.I.A. Drops New Single ‘Bad Girlz’ (prod. by Danja) Next Week

Every spring leading up to a release of a new album from M.I.A. tend to be a good one and well, the spring of 2012 will be one of them as M.I.A. gearing up to drop her fourth full length release this summer, and my guess is that she will, in true M.I.A.-fashion name it after her child. However, as early as next week, the 31st of January, she will unleash the first single from the project (a day earlier it will also be available to stream over at Pitchfork).

The new single is a rework of a tune that appeared on her latest release, the free “Vicki Leekx“-mixtape called ‘Bad Girlz’, produced by Danja. M.I.A also nabbed Romain Gavras for the official video that will premiere the 3rd of February, yes, the same Romain who made the famous video for ‘Born Free’.
