Finally, here’s a release I’ve longed for the whole summer, the debut EP by Germany’s new blood in eclectic club sounds: Tim Turbo. The “Hush (Iggy, Iggy)/Linyora” EP drops the 1st of October on Big’N’Hairy and features Gnucci Banana and her hubby Spoek Mathambo. The 10 track heavy release is like a transnational bass cake stuffed with sassy raps with differed language layers.

Here’s the official video for ‘Hush (Iggy Iggy)’, which is a B-more beat driven, synth peppered announcement to all haters who just can not stop talking behind our backs. Iggy is the word for all those abject wafflers and jealous people and iggy-ya-yey basically means to talk shit:

The second tune of the EP, ‘Linyora’ is a love tale where Spoek plays the role of a Soweto area don, who wants to win the heart of the most beautiful girl in the neighbourhood: Gnucci:
