And as I’ve written before, it’s now clear that Nicki’s first single off her forthcoming debut album will be ‘Massive Attack’ and the single is now set to be premiered live from the sandy shores of the iconic MTV Spring Break. MTV will premiere a performance from a different Spring Break artist each night at 8pm (EST) from March 22nd through the 26th, and besides Nicki you can expect performances from Ludacris, Young Money, Drake, B.O.B., Pitbull and many more.

Nicki has also kept herself busy on the remix-featuring-side, here’s the latest of the bunch: Jason Derülo’s second single ‘In My Head’ off his self titled debut album that was released two weeks ago. ‘In My Head’ is okay but no more, dunno, Jason Derülo has the ability to sound the same on every track in my ears and it’s also another example of a track containing a totally unnecessary blow horn.

Speaking of spring break for that matter, I have never experienced the phenomenon other than the MTV-version but this track by Cisco Adler of Shwayze (Banana Beat Records/Suretone Records) ft. Lil Jon and Dirt Nasty is supposed to be the huge Spring Break Anthem of 2010, and well, from what I’ve seen on MTV, it might just be the truth. What do you spring breakers say? Adler’s new album is slated to release later this spring, and will feature the likes of John Legend, Mickey Avalon, Dirt Nasty, Space Cowboy, Warren Jamez, Too Short, Eddie Rap Life, Cobra Starship, Shaggy, and Cold Flamez.
